ElectronicMonk
Terms of use
Effective: 4 October 2026
These terms apply to the ElectronicMonk app. By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Your licence
You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control.
The app is licensed, not sold. Buying it through Google Play is also subject to Google Play's own terms.
2. What you may not do
You may not, and may not help anyone else to:
- decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer the app, or try to extract its source code, its stage, sleep, Quiet and Still rules, its calibration method or their values;
- copy, publish, share or sell the app, or any part of it, outside Google Play;
- use any part of the app, or anything extracted from it, to build or train another product.
This does not limit anything the law allows you to do regardless of these terms.
3. Trade secrets
The rules that decide the ElectronicMonk stages, sleep, and the Quiet and Still calibration and feedback are confidential trade secrets. They are not published anywhere. Using the app gives you no right to them.
4. Your data
Your data stays on your phone. See the privacy policy: https://prottvr.com/em/privacy
5. Health
The app is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition.
Do not use it while driving or operating machinery. Consult a healthcare professional for medical advice.
6. The headband
The app works with Muse headbands, which are made and sold by a third party. I am not responsible for the headband, its firmware or its accuracy.
7. No warranty and limits of liability
You use the app at your own risk.
To the extent the law allows, the app is provided as is, and I am not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
8. Changes
I may update these terms. The effective date above changes when I do.
I may stop updating or offering the app at any time.
9. Law
Greek law applies. This does not limit the consumer rights of the country you live in.
